Vladimir Pool is being bypassed - Gameplay

During a match against Blitzcrank, Vladimir was in pool mode but still was knocked up by Blitzcrank's punch. In another game, Vladimir was stunned by annie while in pool. I play primarily aram's so only seen this occur in that mode. But I've heard others mentioning it as well.
