Disconnected AFTER game ends

I have no connection issues whatsoever, but for some reason my client disconnects every time AFTER a game has ended. It goes as following:

  • Game going on
  • Game ends
  • Click on return to lobby
  • Black screen for a few seconds
  • The honor screen + "Trying to reconnect"
  • "Trying to reconnect" screen either disappears after a minute, but mostly it keep trying to reconnect and fails to do so; the client automatically closes itself after failing
  • I run my client again and it works fine immediately

Does anybody know why this is happening and why I keep getting the "trying to reconnect" screen, whereas I have no connection issues whatsoever? And most notably, why does it happen AFTER a game has ended (on the post-game victory/defeat page)? FYI, I am playing on MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6.

I was having this issue as well, but going to settings in the client and then general tab you should be able to find the client trouble shooter that fixed it for me

I am having the same issue in a way

  1. Match making done
  2. Everybody locks-in on their selected Champion
  3. 10 second timer ends
  4. After 5 seconds the client re-opens showing my stats as In-game and there is no 'Play' button on top-left corner

Expected Result: get in-game Actual Result: Client re-opens
