I am quite a keen Warwick player, and have come to realise that there is a bug with Warwick's Q spell. Even whilst it is off cool down, sometimes Q does not go off. This is especially true just after his Ultimate (R) spell, where Q often refuses to go off despite being off cooldown. Could riot please look into this issue, as his Q is a pivotal source of damage as well as survivaribility because of lifesteal.
warwick's Q has a very long cast delay while he performs his swipe, and during this delay it can be canceled with any input, from re-targeting Q to a movement command.
thats called a cast time.
Travel time is how long it takes to get to enemy on average.
Cast time is how long it takes until damage happens. The damage regs about .5-.7 seconds after pressing the key.
If you're high as fuck ping you wont notice since 100 ping = .5 second delay but for lower ping it feels like years.
That and a 120hz monitor.
I've been playing WW a lot lately and have noticed the exact same thing with his W. It will be ready to cast (off cooldown) but no matter what I try I cannot get the skill to activate. From pressing W, to using the mouse to click the skill icon. It usually relents after several seconds (about 5 or more). I hadn't connected that it occurred more often after I use infinite duress, but now that I read your post that does seem to be what I'm noticing too.
Note that his W is not a target skill and should happen immediately.
i play warwick alot and this is really a pain when u use wws r and then follow up with his q (his only combo), his q doesnt go off thus letting the enemy either escape or cc and kill u. i would really love to see this fixed.
OK, so I have been play-in WW since 2010 and I love him. I have a ping of about 4-15ms and I have never had this problem. So I would assume that you connection is to blame on this one. Now i know your going to come back at me saying that you have the Super Duper Ultra Fast Internet from some company that says they are the best but do me and everyone else a favor and check it and the ping of you net before you blame riot for this. It is like in games over the last 2 month I have more people complain about how the lag so much and that is why the die or miss a team fight or ping. Don't be like them and just check it and if it is slow or the ping is high pay more to fix it!
