Pink ward bug

Just played in a game where the opposing team definitely exploited a bug with pink warding the dragon pit, the ward itself sat directly under dragon and is untargetable without hitting the dragon first and then getting it to move off of the actual ward. I dont remember this even being allowed to happen in previous SR versions the ward would always defer off the actual dragon. As you can imagine at a very low lvl you cannot kill this pink ward without aggroing dragon therefor taking large amounts of dmg, this is an obvious bug exploit I dont have a screenshot and I'm not going to name names but this needs to be looked into please.
