Every second game freezes midgame

Since the last 3-4 patches, my game is started to freeze every second game. This is independent if I play normals, ranked, ARAMs or other game modes. Every second game crashes. This happens usually around the 15 minute mark, and is independent if its during a teamfight, shop window, standing still, recalling or any other action/non-action. Reproduction rate for me is 10/10. I have to open the Task Manager and close the LoL program, and then reconnect to the game.

I have tried to update my video drivers (NVIDIA GeForce 970) but it did not help. I do not experience this freeze in any other game. I run the game on Ultra settings with everything activated. Using the new client.

I tried to make a search for it, but I get zero relevant hits.

Please instruct if more information is needed (like a bugsplat (does not come up when freezing) and how to get it).

I have been having the same issue. I am able to alt-tab, but cannot close the client. I have to restart my computer every time. It only happens with league.

Same for me. Except I haven't tracked whether it was every other game or not. In January and February I was playing on a laptop with an external graphics card enclosure and I thought that that was the problem. But I spent money on a desktop since and it still happens.

Basically the game freezes, (No sound, just stuck on the last frame) I can't alt tab or windows tab; but I can ctrl alt delete and sign out and sign back in and reconnect. It's fairly frequent and SOOO annoying. Doesn't happen in any other game. League was my favorite game until I ran into this stupid bug.
