So during a game of norms 5v5, my whole team including me just bug-splatted out of nowhere. The other team however did not at all, and kept playing like normal. In the video, you can even see Riven laughing? Is it a coincidence or HACKING?

Leylania2 votesHard to say. Gamebreaking bugs where whole teams (sometimes even both teams) got kicked from the game happened in the past multiple times, this does not have to be a hack. And I think Riven was just laughing because well tbh it looks kinda funny when two enemies suddenly afk in mid.

BubblyRainbows1 votesIt's hard to say definitively whether it's a hack or not, but I have reported this sort of thing to customer service through a ticket in the past. When your bot lane is crushing the enemy lane (like 12/0/0 and 0/0/14 at ten minutes) and suddenly they both get simultaneously disconnected and don't come back until your inhibitors are all gone, it does look awfully suspicious.

It's highly unlikely that it was a DDoS. The attacker would have to find the IP addresses of each player on the enemy team, which is not possible without breaking into League's servers, because the player data goes players -> server, server -> players. Not to mention the resource requirements it would take for an average person to launch a DoS on 5 people. It could have been an internet outage if that entire team was something like a premade of friends from the same city. I had a time last year when playing with two friends where the internet went out for the entire city for a few hours, and we were at first convinced it was a DoS.
So most likely a bug.
Juggernaut6281 votesI had a weird game, I think yesterday, where the entire enemy team dc'd, and then a short while later everyone on my team other than me dc'd. It was hilarious, really. Glad it was a normal game.
