Champion Select Crash in Normals

Just yesterday (December, 11) I was kicked from the league of legends during the post game report after a heavy update. I was able to play fine most of the day before when it updated. After the game I was sent back to my desktop with no error messages from anything. When I tried again to get into League the launch would appear but when I licked launch the login screen didn't appear. I fixed that through forums but then when I tried to get into a normals game the game crashed on me giving me the Bug Splat report. I've tried a lot of the stuff that has come up on previous forums including run as admin. The farthest I got was getting past the crash error and becoming frozen in a black screen. Any help is welcome and just to say this I'm not too smart when dealing with computers so any dumbed down terms would also be appreciated. Thank you.
