Smart Ping Glitch

I've been having trouble with my smart pinging and my mouse, very similar/identical to this post from 2013:

Problem is, most people were getting the glitch on Windows 8.1, and found a fix, however I am on WIndows 10, and do not know of any fix, nor have I seen anyone post about this since then. It is getting very frustrating. Any help?

Is your problem that when press your ping it comes out as the neutral ping when you are trying to smart ping and no matter how slow you do it it will automatically neutral ping cuz that is my problem and it is unbelievably tilting

yup. same boat. thought i had it fixed but then upgraded to win10 and it came back
