The client become unresponsive during champ select

Today during champ select the client keep becoming unresponsive as the timers rundown. Once the timers hit zero even though it wasn't my turn to select,was knocked out of the queue and forced to suffer an undeserved penalty. Plz address this problem,it making the game near unplayable
