Ashe's Frost Shot Bug

I was playing a game when I was Quinn with a Blitzcrank support vs an Ashe. When we were hit by Ashe's frost shot we would also be able to use frost shot, so every time when I auto attacked a frost shot would go off and would drain my mana like frost shot normally would. If I was hit by another frost shot then it would remove the frost shot ability, but if I was hit again the ability would come back, and so on and so forth. Also in a related note, I would hide behind minions but Ashe's volley would be piercing through them and still hit me which made the situation even more difficult to deal with, because not only would I be losing mana constantly but I would also be getting frozen constantly with little chance of dodging.
