I'm on a PC, can't start the client also. I get a RADS error saying: Could not connect to the HTTP server. Please check that your internet connection is enabled and that your firewall is not blocking the access.

Any fixes yet?

Me too. Says there's a problem contacting the patch server in my log file.

The video that was posted above actually does help. I am not sure why it would make a difference, but I am not asking any questions at this point. Time to grind!

Change your DNS to Google's public DNS. -Open your "Network and Sharing Center" -Select "Change adapter settings" -Right click your adapter, and select "Properties" -Locate the field for "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and double-click it. -On the bottom, select "Use the following DNS server addresses, and input the following: Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4 -Click OK twice, and retry the game.

works , thx to Hansiman for figuring this out , in 2013.
