Fizz E becomes disabled for no apparent reason

I was playing fizz earlier today in a norms game and teleported into baron pit, while the play was not that great, it was made even worse by the fact that as soon as i was in the pit I wasn't able to use my e (playful trickster). After I died, as soon as I respawned I was unable to use my e for a while. It eventually fixed itself but was very annoying for a while.
