Ping wheel going wrong direction

Randomly when I ping it goes in the wrong direction like 60% of the time. I’m pretty sure it only happens a when I use G to ping aswell. This has been happening for a few seasons now but just became a lot of frequent. I have switched mouses multiple times and redownloaded client as well. Would love to know if this is happening to anyone else
