Did the fix the Mac sound Bug?

I've been playing league on my mac since i first started back in the day. Never had problems with the sound or had lag spikes from the client itself until recently. In one of the more recent patches I noticed that my sound would bug out and become super distorted. Thought it was weird but didn't really mind it. Then i started to notice in team fights i would have HUGE lag spikes and not even be able to help my team because the sound was causing my client to lag. Was just wondering if they have fixed this, as i have been playing without sound for about 2 months now. Thanks -Darude TiltStorm
