Client having to patch every time

So im playing lol and when i disconnect from wifi i go to restart the client and it sunddenly has the default splash art and it says my username and password are wrong. After a few times of restarting lol i get a 1400 mb patch. This has happened at least 3 times in 2 days and i cant resolve it. Anyone having this?
