[Crash] Computer freezing after logging in

So, starting about two days ago, my computer has been freezing up after every time I try log in. Basically, I pull up the application, hit "Launch," type in my username and password, and as soon as the home screen after logging in comes on, League of Legends freezes, and shortly after my whole computer has frozen and I have to turn off my computer.

This has happened about four times. After the third time, I uninstalled League and reinstalled it. It still happened after I tried after the reinstallation. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Windows 8. Please fix this. Love League, but this just sucks.

I'm having the same issue, tried reinstalling, still freezing, it started after the server maint on 08/06/15, using an HP Laptop with windows 8.1

Same issue, it locks up my PC hard. I tried running in compatibility mode with windows 7 and that hasn't solved anything. But the locking up is hard core, can't even move the mouse or even turn on or off num lock. At first I was actually concerned with my hard drive acting up but figured it was a league only problem.
