in champ select spamming space bar while looking at mastery treees

someone told me i could edit my runes by clicking edit masteries and pressing space bar 3 times, doing so made me unable to remove the masteries editor tab, leaving only the tan/white colored masteries box background when i pressed the X. essentialy making me unable to choose my champion, runes, masteries, or summoners.
