[GAMEPLAY] X + Q/W/E/R or 1/2/3/4 to activate items or level up abilities not working

The bug in question that I am reporting is very simple but very annoying. I began a game today as Vel'Koz and tried to level up my abilities and emote spam as normal. However, when I used CTRL and Q to level up Q, it did not level it up and only after mashing the button multiple times, it finally did level up the ability. When I tried to Emote with CTRL + 1/2/3/4, not only did it not Emote, but it also activated my Mana potion I had in the 3 slot, despite never having taken my finger off the CTRL key. This issue continued throughout the game with all abilities and all Emote positions. It was suggested that I rebind the key- the CTRL key may be broken. However, after rebinding the key several times to ALT + X and then many other buttons such as . + X, the issue remained the same. I have yet to try it out on another champion, but this seems like an issue that would really annoy someone like me who habitually levels up abilities and Emote spams- and it could even be game-breaking in the case of having to level up an ability, like an ultimate, at a key time. I am on the Mac client as of 5.2, and I have yet to find a fix. I would greatly appreciate it if this bug were taken into consideration for 5.3.
