Switching Summoners in the last 3 seconds can still give you the old summoners

I don't appreciate rushing to switch to Smite in the last 3 seconds, seeing it fully set and visible, and then having heal on jungle Kha'Zix (rushed to him too, wanted another but oh well) in game when I know for a fact I switched.

Would love a fix, this has happened before.

Edit: I also just returned to the game yesterday, and only just learnt now that machete items are restricted to champions with Smite. I'm not sure what Riot was smoking to screw their playerbase over with that change, but it certainly didn't help. There's no way I'm going to suffer through an entire match knowing that, good thing I know I have other games to play that don't have match ruining bugs.
