Aurelion Sol stars disables[GAMEPLAY]

I was playing a game of today and I bought . Even when I had the spell shield up - If someone were to cast a spell that normally would interrupt my W active while I had the shield on, my W stars would still be disabled. For instance: I have with the shield activated. I active my W, enlarging my star range. uses her E (Charm) on me and my stars would be disabled even though I have the spell shield and never got affected by a crowd control effect. I suppose this is not meant to be, I hope so at least.
