Game crash and won't open during loading

Not sure if it's a bug, but this has never happened before. Was in game for ranked and as it went into the loading screen, the game just crashed and I kept trying to reconnect but it would repeatedly crash. Finally I was able to reconnect but it was already too late cause I was 3:00 minutes late, my opponent had a 20 cs and 3 lvl lead over me which was part of the reason we lost.

Any thoughts on what went wrong, computer problem or just spaghetti code?
