Varus Displacement Glitch During Q Charging

I've noticed that on occasion if Varus is displaced during a specific point in his Q charge-up (and this may be linked to smartcast only I'm not sure) he gets stuck in the charge-up animation and releasing the Q button no longer fires the arrow. He gets stuck and no longer can output damage. I've never had this happen and survived the outcome so I don't know how long he stays stuck or if it ends at maximum charge duration.
