[Gameplay] Champions Ignoring Taunt Affliction
I have seen this occurring multiple times recently both when I play Rammus as well as on Shen and Galio in my games. Sometimes when an enemy is taunted instead of being forced to attack the champion applying the taunt they suffer a slowed movement speed but continue to walk in the direction they were moving. It is not extremely common but it is reproducible in a low ratio if you do the following.
- Have a Champion who has an ability that forces them to walk to cast range if out of range, or a targeted ability on a certain character.
- Queue up the characters ability as the champion applying the taunt begins their taunt animation.
If the attacks are queue'd up at approximately the same time, the person who is taunted (in our case Cho'gath) will sometimes walk to the location where he cast his Rupture or continue to walk toward the target of his Feast, he will not cast the skill but I have had champions walk out of tower range when they are being attacked. It is not particularly common or game breaking but it is annoying to have a 2.25 second taunt under tower just be ignored as the enemy champion walks to safety. It is common enough for me to see it once in every second or third game.
Thanks for taking the time to look into this and see if you can figure out the root cause of the crowd control not overriding abilities queued up to cast.
