Friends list gone, can't see them but I can hear the pings. Might uninstall

There is a bug in the Riot client where it has no friends list but I can hear invites. I also noticed that the champion roster has consistently broken champions that don't seem to be balanced at all. When will Riot fix the client? Does anyone have any ideas?
