Spectate Mode not working

For the past month or so every time i try to spectate a game, it takes forever to load and then nothing moves once i get into the game. After about a minute of everything just standing there, it might move ahead a few seconds and then freeze again. Spectating used to work fine, and no its not my internet connection cause i can jump into a game and have zero lag.
