[Client] Champ Select Stuck at 0 when Picking or Banning

Basically what happens is when I queue up for a game I get into champ select, people select their champions, ban waves start, I ban a champion, BUT then someone, whether they be on my team or the other's, will count down to 0 on my screen. This causes my client to never proceed to the selection portion, which causes me to dodge.

  1. Queue
  2. Accept
  3. Hover Champion
  4. Ban Waves Start
  5. Ban a Champion
  6. Someone (on my screen) "never" Locks in Ban
  7. Sit Here Indefinitely
  8. After a Minute or so Players will have Disconnected from Lobby Chat
  9. Finally Just Exit the Game
  10. Lose LP

SOMETIMES the client will sync and everything that has happened will "fast forward" rapidly on my client, causing me to frantically hit lock in, or whatever.

Frequency: Every Game

Steps Taken to Remedy: "Full Repair", Uninstall/Reinstall, changed network settings on router, obviously a PC restart.

Notable Equipment: i7-8700K, ASUS Strix 1080Ti OC, Samsung 970 Pro 1TB, G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 Mhz, Linksys EA 9500 Router, Arris SB8200 Modem.

Pinged na.leagueoflegends.com through CMD and got typical response ping.

Any suggestions from people that have had this issue before, happened overnight. No clue. Nothing was changed regarding my PC since the last game I played.

^^ Having the same issues bud - Unsure of what to do about it though. Had to resort to playing ARAM's with my mates and waiting till they are in loading screen - Then using task manager to close the league client - Then relogging and it loads into game. However, can swap champs or re roll or change any runes or masteries. I read up on some others having this issue and its pretty much we just gotta wait til Riot fixes the client. My issues started effective from Patch 8.17

Exactly the same issues I am having at the moment. I get stuck in champion select and have to ask when the match starts so I can relog. There is nothing we can do about it. Just stop playing or take it easy until we hear of a fix.

Hey Guys i know this is a thread from a long time ago, but i had the exact same problem. This problem made league unplayable for a year.

The fix is that you go out and buy a different router. As dumb as it sounds that's the fix. I tried everything else. Rebot pc, factory reset, buy new pc parts, tried different computer, chance my ip to a static one, but nothing. The moment i changed my router it worked.
