Tahm kentch ate me and canceled my ult (sort of)

So, Tahm ate me right as I ulted as Lee Sin. It stopped my ult, but only until he spit me out. As soon as i got spit out, my ult went off, except now I was completely off target for the knock up I was going for. I also was standing next to a new target that I wanted to ult for the knock up, but as i said, my ult went off AFTER it got canceled and I got got dead.
