[GAMEPLAY] Phantom Dancer interaction with pass-through passives

HOW DO I POPPY·4/19/2017, 9:29:20 PM·2 votes·587 views

i can't think of any champion that isn't kennen or nocturne to test this, but when you buy phantom dancer on either of them they completely lose their minion pass-through (kennen's E is supposed to make him walk through minions, same as nocturne q)

to reproduce: 1- play kennen or nocturne 2- buy phantom dancer 3- press E as kennen or Q as nocturne and try to walk through minions

i can't think of any way to make this longer, i very much hope this helps!

Since Nocturne's free this week, I went ahead and tested his Q out with the Practice Tool.

I found that Nocturne's Q does not seem to allow him to move through minions when he has a Phantom Dancer.

However, I don't play him, and the unit movement felt kinda clunky with or without the Phantom Dancer.

Now, I do play Janna every so often. Her W has a Passive effect that allows her to move through units, so long as it's not on cooldown.

Janna's W seems to be working normally, though, both with and without a Phantom Dancer.

So, my theory is Phantom Dancer overrides activated champion abilities that ignore unit collision. Passive abilities don't seem to be affected, however.

Which means, it's likely a bug.

Fizz, or using ghost, has the ability to make you walk through minions
