Game freezing right before game starts

So after i picked my champion, it froze and i still saw the league of legend app jumping up and down. After awhile, i decided to turn off the computer by putting the lid of my mac down. Then i put it back up but it was now a black screen. I decided to hold the start button twice which led me to my screen. I waited and waited until i got to the screen where it shows the enemy and our team's champs. After the round, i hoped that i would not get a leaver buster. but i did get one. I am really upset on how this happened. So plz fix this RIOT.

Also, I was using bard for the first time if that helps.

might be a problem with your computer have you checked for outdated parts or have you checked your fan?

I was also playing some games before this round and it was fine

During the round, i told my teammates that i had this freezing problem and one of them said that when he or she had this freezing problem, the game let her not get a leaver buster../and she or he says that this freezing problem has been happening frequently
