Screen freezing

Since thiis patch my game keeps on freezing. This is first time, i dont know why, but i think it has to do something with new patch.

I am having the same problem.....what really pisses me off is that In the YEARS that I have played this game I have NEVER, I repeat NEVER AFK'd or had connection issues or been reported for leaving or AFK. Yet in the last week since the patch I have been Leaver busted twice because after the champion selection process the screen comes up to launch the game and all the champions get to 39% loaded and it freezes.....It won't even let me get to task manager or let me log off so I can resign back on. I have to totally shut down my computer and restart which causes me to not be able to get back until after the team votes to remake. Riot knows this issue is happening and chooses to penalize someone like me who always follows the rules. I work my ass off to climb in ranks and I get screwed out of points and time because of an issue with a patch. This to me is disgusting behavior by your company. I play and spend money just like others and you CHOOSE to penalize people trying to do the right thing.

Just to clear things up, PET has no association with Riot, we were simply community members assisting other community members with technical issues and such.

This error has unfortunately been around for some time but this one is complex to solve. Riot is currently looking into but that's all that we know at the moment.

I fully understand the frustration that you and other players experienced due to this issue and it is warranted. Rest assured Riot is committed to resolving this issue, even though it's taking a lot of time.

If you're able to see an error message popup and it's along the lines of "A Critical error has occurred" it should ask you if you'd like to create a .TMP file and provides a path to access file.

You can then zip (compress) and then upload it the request you have opened (or open a new one if it's closed). Player Support will forward the logs to the developers to aid them in finding a solution.

If you're experiencing trouble uploading the file directly to the request, you can use an online storage system such as Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive, share the file (make it public) and link it in the body of the request.

If you're not able to see the error message but have heard an error message notification/sound while in-game/loading screen when everything freezes then it's the same issue but you unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to create the file due your PC being frozen.
