Could not connect to patching page with beta profile

I was using the open beta until now, but hadn't been on in a little while and decided to play a couple of games today. The login page comes up with spinning wheel of death saying that I cant connect. Checked your server status and its all good. Tried to reroute past firewall and didn't work.

So I checked the boards and someone suggested that switching back fixed the issue for them. I don't really know how to report errors with the beta client since I can't log into and have reverted for now so I can play, but I just wanted to let y'know that it wasn't getting any connection at all and automatically reconnected as soon as I switched back.

Same issue but worse. I was connecting into a game, it kicked me out then told me I needed to check my internet connection/make sure firewall wasnt blocking access...legitimately played 10 games in the past 24 hours; why would this randomly just happen. Now 0-2 in placements..just shit luck I guess

Was happening, but gave it a couple mins and now it's doing an update. So hopefully back to normal.

Nope. Still doesn't work. I can't even get back to the page where it would let me switch to legacy client.

Just started happening to me after 9 placement games. How do you revert back to the old client? I just have the spinning wheel of death, with only shutdown/restart as options, and can't click on anything on the actual login screen

Same problem; my friend said this happened to him a while back. He recommended running as Admin. It didn't change anything for me, but I think the League Patcher was still running in the background somehow.

I just cleared LoL-related things from the task manager and started normally- -it gave the same issue. So instead of hitting "Restart" or "Shutdown" I right clicked the icon in the taskbar to "Close Window" and quit out. The window changed, said the whole "Do you want to quit? Yes/No" thing, I clicked no and the death wheel went away and I logged in just fine. Also I disabled all my Avast crap that I have to get rid of lol

Not sure which of these things did the trick but I'm gucci now~
