Infinite Loading Queue on Games?

Recently, I've had this problem where I'll be waiting in Queue for a reasonable time...

But when I accept the Queue so I can go into Champ Select, the blue circle border turns grey for like 20 seconds before sending me back into the waiting queue. Here's the kicker though: Supposedly I'm actually declining the champ select, as shown by this screenshot.

This is really unfair because I'm actually itching to play but stuck in this hour long "Hahaha you accept queue but can't get in" bs.
Does anyone know a stopgap or solution to this because I don't want to get banned for this when it's not being intentionally done.

EDIT1: Wow, Riot just posted in the client that "We're aware of issues occurring during Champ select, and working on fixing the problem. We've disabled affected queues while we investigate." So it's actually not my fault
