Login Screen Has Excessive Black/Blank Space

A couple updates ago, there is a lot of black/blank space between the login screen image and the edge of the window boarder.

Been trying to lookup why this may be and play around with the settings also.

Can anyone help clue me in? Definitely appreciate any help!

I can adjust the size of the window but the blank space stays relative to the size of the background image. :(

It was suggested this might be a known issue but I was not able to find anything on the boards so easily. Thanks in advance for anyone with your advice or info.
