I was playing Alistar support and I was working on my Gargoyle's stone plate. I bought a stopwatch and went back to the battlefield. When I returned I was unable to upgrade to the full gargoyle stoneplate. I also could not buy any other completed item, such as Locket of the Iron Solari. It caused me to lose the game.
Same here! Played Soraka and was trying to buy Ardent Censer - had to wait for full 2100 gold. Then again the same issue with Redemption. Probably the main reason we lost, I'm so sad.
We are all having this problem!!!!!! Needs to be fixed ASAP Can't play ranked, lost 3 games because of this, 1 yesterday and 2 today.

Just had the exact same issue. I was playing Thresh and couldn’t upgrade to any completed items unless I had full amount to pay for them. Bug didn’t begin until ~10 minutes of gameplay.
I had the same problem with Janna earlier.
Same the last few days having issues buying the finalized items.
Janna main here! Having the same issue when trying to finish any support item set!! Losing games because of it , team flames and also threatens to report even though I explain it’s a bug . Please fix!
This also happens to me for like 2 weeks. It's really frustrating

I HAD THIS PROBLEM TWICE When i got this for the first time i didn't rly care cuz we were totally winning (i was support and i was a bit useless) But the second game was ranked and we were about to lose so i needed items - i was about to take redemption and then ardent but couldn't - when i press on any of the items it writes i can afford them but i can't actually buy them - i still could buy some cheap items (about 1000 gold max) I decided to DISCONNECT and RECONNECT (someone who had this problem once recommended me to do so) - it actually worked but i had to be afk for about 1 or 2 mins which is problem
Just happened to me in a soraka game, couldn't buy pieces of items and had to resell them and buy the item in full for it to work and it cost us the game
Same here, playing support, having issues buying the finalised items and that's a big problem while in Ranked games. Hope it will be fixed asap.

Same here( fewdays see this bag, with support items(redeption.ardent etc..) on diff champions(soraka, janna sona etc..) Please fix this bag, cant play normal lol support( wiil wait untill fixed, dont play
I had this happen just now. I ended up having 3000g in my pockets and couldn't buy a 650g Redemption. Disconnecting and reconnecting didn't work. I managed to finally buy it after selling my support item and clicking Undo. It only worked once, though, and selling other items didn't affect it. What would've been a 25 minute game turned into 50 minutes because I never had any items.

4 Months ago, funny. Having the same problem in patch 8.9, seems like they just dont give a fuck about it since its obviously not happening in the high elo q's. have reported this bug over and over again but shit happened, they just dont care #feelsbadman ty rito
