[CLIENT] MAC OS X EL CAPITAN - Stuck on LoLPatcherUX

Updated to El Cap, Launched League, and nothing. No window or anything. However, LoLPatcherUx will open in the dock but will say "Application Not Responding". No patch/launch window appears. I have tried the force repatch support page, reinstalling, restarting, and rebooting. Similar symptoms on my second Mac which also has El Capitan. This happens 100% of the time, every time.

I have submitted a ticket through Riot Support. Riot has said El Capitan is supported, but this seems to be an OS compatibility issue.

Riot needs to release a solution for this PLEASE. Still haven't seen a solution for this and its 7 months old! Many Mac users are experiencing this problem, including myself. My situation is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE VIDEO PLAYS IT...

Temporary solution for Mac Users: I use bootcamp to run windows 8 and play league on that side of my mac if anyone wants a temporary fix, but overall, its annoying having to turn my mac off and on again to play league... someone asks if I want to play... I have to say "see you in 15 minutes"... Although it separates my work from play. Irelia

Did anyone ever solve this? I'm having the same problem in el Capitan and have been unable to launch league for a few weeks.

Did you ever solve this problem? I'm having the exact same issue. RIOT supports keeps telling me that it is a DNS issue. But I haven't been able to resolve it yet.

Hi guys, i found a fix that worked for me here:

Easy steps to fix:

Go to System Preferences
Go to Network
Go to Advanced
Go to DNS
Press the plus button and add 8.8.8.8
Press the plus button and add 8.8.4.4
Press Ok
Press Apply.

Everything else failed for me on OS X El Capitan. Hope it helps summoners!

So, riot tells me I am having fps issues due to not upgrading to el capitan. Is it worth/safe at the moment to upgrade to El capital if i want to play league?

Just poking my head in. I want to upgrade to El Capitan but if it isn't fully supported, I don't want to jump in head first until I have confirmation that it works.
