[Client] Cannot select a champion, change runes, or lockin in champion select

I cant select runes, I cant pick a different champion, and I cannot lock in. Happens randomly sometime after banning in champ select. I can select champions in preselect and I could select a ban. After this, my clicking stopped working in the client except in chat, where I lamented I could not lock in. It appears to occur when I mess with my runes / summoners in champion select.

It is incredibly frustrating to be marked as a dodger, having to wait, and losing rank when this happens. This is not the first time and it appears this bug has gone on for years. If you guys cannot figure out your client to fix the bug, at least allow an autolock for champs that are selected but not locked.
