[GAMEPLAY] Cho'Gath Ult Bug(?)

So in my most recent match with Cho in ARAM. Near the end of the match there were a few instances where I would cast my Ult on a minion just as a teammate killed it or slightly before. My Ult would go on full cooldown and I would receive zero stacks from it. It was pretty frustrating because it wasn't a one off, it happened twice. Just wondering if it is an actual bug and wanted to point it out.

I had this issue two times in ARAM on Graves and on Gankplank.

I used my Ult, the Ultimate is on cooldown and two times i did ZERO Damage.

Both players had no banshy or any def item, but my Ultimate on Cooldown and they lose 0,00 life.

Please Riot, solve this.
