Black Shield Bug on Lee Sin Q?

Hey Y'all! Not quite sure if this is a bug or misunderstanding on my part. Morgana's shield does nothing to Lee Sin's Q (Sonic Wave). Once the shield is active, Lee can Q the person, then follow up his Q, with the black shield still intact. I understand it does not block physical damage, but shouldn't it block the ability for the mark to land on the person? the shield will block the affect of Lees R (dragon rage), which is also physical damage. So my question is:

Why does black shield block the affect of one physical ability(Dragon Rage) but not the other physical ability (Sonic Wave)?

Black shield blocks all CC abilites (roots taunts fears stuns etc) It is NOT a spell shield it is a CC shield. Since dragon rage has CC (displacement) it will block it. Lee sin's Q is not a CC so it does not block it.

Black shield only stops abilities that would dissable the champion.
