[GAMEPLAY/CLIENT] Alt/tabbing in and out of the game breaks chat and pings

Sorry for the double tag. I'm not sure exactly where the problem lies.

Anyway, I've had a problem with alt+tabbing in and/or out of the game that seriously ruins my entire 15-60 minute experience on the Rift.

Everything goes fine (logging in, starting a game, banning/selecting champ, etc) until the actual game, not the client, loads up (as in, it appears on the taskbar). It seems like if I alt-tab AT ALL while the game is active, the bug will occur.

I can't type at all. Hitting enter does nothing. My pings are also broken. PIngs are absolutely vital to me as a main.

Holding ctrl+click brings up the ping wheel, but the line segment that shows which ping I'm about to ping stretches all the way beyond the borders of the screen, and is really hard to move. It takes me about 5 seconds to ping alert upon noticing a gank, so it's better for me to not even ping at all.

I think you get the point. Like I said, I don't know whether it's an in-game problem or a client issue, but whatever it is I hope Riot sees this real quick. I might as well not even bother playing ranked, especially since I'm learning ADC (please don't hurt me).
