Matchmaking fails to put me in champ select

So, pretty much what the title says. I queued up for an ARAM, waited my minute or whatever, and when the queue popped I accepted the game... only to be dumped back into the main client screen. I know it wasn't a matter of anyone declining or failing to respond because there was no notification for it, but more importantly because I could clearly hear messages being sent, champ select music, and even a trade request, all while on the main screen with no way of actually entering the lobby I was a part of. Clicking Play and trying to queue again told me it was impossible as I was already assigned to a queue (which I knew, but figured I could trick it into actually letting me into my own team since it was my only option.) Shop still worked, profile still worked, and ultimately I chose to exit the client because I had no way of knowing if it was even going to recognize me as a part of the game when it started, to say nothing of where I had no idea what I was playing - the game would have started just fine since it was ARAM and I had nothing to lock, so it's not even like I could let the timer run out. Anyone else run into this?
