Can't sign into the PBE since client change.

My client like just just changed and updated after everyone else and the moment that it happened I it's saying my credentials are not valid even tho i was literally on the PBE playing ARUF like a few days ago. I even tried reseting my password just to see if that would fix it even tho i know its the correct one, but there is no differentiation when i click reset password, it has me reset my live server password and not my PBE one. Anyone else having the same or similar issues that could shed some light on this situation or am I the only one having this happen to them.

Okay so my friend on her PBE account and it says im on and that i have games played even tho i havnt touched it in a week. Soooo is there anything a rioter can do to recover my account cuz im guessing i was hacked and they changed the email of my account.
