6.1 patch error - screen greys out

I am just playing league as normal and suddenly my screen goes grey-tinted like something is about to pop up, but nothing pops up and I cannot click on anything in my client--I have to exit league from my task bar. It hasn't happened during a game, but it has happened in queue, after a game, and in champion select. I has caused me to dodge a game or two now.
