Relic Shield bug

I have noticed a bug in my last few games as support and I don't know if it has been brought up so if it has apologies. I just got done supporting as Thresh for two games, both of these games I started Relic Shield as my first item. As we know Relic Shield passive states - Melee autoattacks execute minions below 200 (+100% AD) health. I have found however that it has not been activating like it should be. I have the stacks ready and waiting, I hit a minion that is under 200 health and nothing. They never are executed like they should be. It is only if I get the very last hit like traditional farming do the stacks activate and give gold to my adc. I feel this needs to be addressed and quickly. Thank you.

Why is it so hard for people to browse forums instead of posting new topics over stuff that's been going on for ages.. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/sblNxUUc-thresh-support-relic-shield-glitch

Ranged aa's don't proc execute.

Melee autoattacks. Thresh has ranged autoattacks.

To expand upon my last comment, it says only melee attacks will EXECUTE minions. However, the second part of the passive is not restricted by that, and as such, killing enemy minions in any way with stacks up will give gold and health to the nearest champion.

With 450 range I wouldn't consider him melee. kingdCoy

You've missed the point. Unless you can think like a NON-league player, you won't get it.

As an experienced league player, I know his attacks are considered ranged, mechanically. From the standpoint of someone who hasn't researched how the game calculates things inside the game, I will always consider him to be melee because he's using a melee weapon with reach.

That's why newer players or players who haven't taken the time to look this stuff up, or ask about it, are going to be confused when it comes to Thresh.
