Joining a Teambuilder lobby and disconnecting from the client keeps you "in" the lobby as a "ghost"

How to reproduce:

  1. Join teambuilder lobby
  2. Disconnect from your internet. You should get a message saying "Disconnected from PvP.net. Attempting to reconnect..."

tl;dr you can chat with your lobby mates but you cannot see roster changes

You can still talk to your lobby mates, but on their screen it would appear as if you left the lobby yet somehow continue talking to them. If your position gets replaced (e.g. you filed as Top/Tank, you DC, then someone else comes in the lobby as Top/Tank) you cannot see the new person, but you can talk to him/her. If someone is in "countdown" mode when you DC, the countdown reaches 0 and freezes. If the lobby gets full and the game starts, you get a "GROUP_NOT_FOUND" error and the only option you can take is to quit Teambuilder.

~~

Personally, I would appreciate if I was still in the Teambuilder lobby. Sometimes my Internet disconnects for like 1/2 a second, and it's super annoying to requeue just because of a slight hiccup

This happens to me all of the time.

What you could try is clicking "windows" + "r" at the same time, type in "services.msc", then find "IP helper" and disable or stop it. Gl hf, hope this works.
