[Gameplay] Irelia's Q Resets Without Killing Minion

  1. Playing Irelia, get an enemy minion wave on your tower.
  2. Bladesurge to a minion right before a tower is about to kill it.
  3. (If you do it right) You won't get the gold or the kill on the minion, but your Q will reset.

This doesn't happen every time, but it happens pretty reliably about once a game on Irelia, and it's been going on for as long as I've been playing the game (4.5 years).

Most cooldown resets (Diana's Lunar Rush, Zac's Unstable Matter, Cassiopeia's Twin Fang) have a little bit of forgiveness built in; if the condition hits very soon after, the cooldown will still reset. Cassie's Fang will still reset if it hits right after the poison wears off, Diana's ult will still reset if she was racing her Q to the target, Zac 'stores' the reduction from his blobs for a tiny bit, and so on.
