If you have a saved credit card when you go to buy RP, it asks for a CCV number. But now it's not asking me for one, tested it with my girlfriend too and same thing. Allowing me to purchase RP without a CCV number could be problematic, especially for parents who don't want their kids buying RP.
Wow, this is scary. Hopefully Riot fixes this before kids go crazy and buy a bunch of RP.
Happened to me last night as well. I tend to be somewhat paranoid about this kinda stuff. A bit worrying.
I just logged in to check this and selecting my saved card shows the CVV field for about a split second and then it disappears. I understand vendors are not required to actually use the CVV field but I always feel better when they do.

Same issue with me, but hitting purchase RP doesn't add RP to the account.
It is because u verified ur email thats why u can buy rp with no cvv
That's why I just buy cards at GameStop...I'm already paranoid about using my card at the grocery store lol
