Client bugged out and won't let me log in

Started a rank game and get a black screen for the loading. alt+tabbed and closed down the client to restart it. When I reopened the client it has a pop up saying "We have restored this installation to an older version of League of Legends. Now we'll try to patch it up to the latest version". The client isn't patching like it says and now it won't let me log in. I input the correct username and password but it tells me I have the wrong password/username. I know it's right because I signed onto here with the same account. Also logged into league on my laptop with the same credentials and I got in no problem.
