Yorick ult randomly going into lane or jungle

Title, the ult just randomly goes places once in a while. Most notably, it charges down lane sometimes when anywhere near it, completely ignoring yorick. It also doesn't like to listen to you when you send it down a lane to split push, infact it usually roams in complete random places. I'm sure you'll see more threads about this with video footage, sorry for not much evidence.
