Stuck on downloading at 0kbp/s

I tried to install the new 6.5 update that got released, but the patcher closed and would crash every time I tried to open it. So, I decided to delete League Of Legends from my computer and reinstall it. Good idea right ? Well, apparently no :( I've left the game to download overnight, and all I see is that the game is stuck on downloading at 0kbp/s. I've been searching all over the internet for a fix, but I still can't find one. Please, someone help me. I really love this game, but I can't play

EDIT : Now, I closed the patcher and I can't open it back up
