Unable to play after updating my windows 8. anyone else have this issue?

I updated my Laptop and right after I go to log in to play and I get a PVP.net Patcher Kernel has stopped working notification.

I am as well :( . I click "Launch" on the patcher, then I log in. After I log in, everything on the client tries to load, but then my computer freezes and I have to restart it. Please fix Rito. item 3070 Thanks

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was worried my computer was starting to fail but the second after I log in my computer freezes and I'm forced to manually restart.
